The Sindh gov has directed all private schools to give at least 20% concession in their tuition fee for the months of Apr and May to provide relief to the parents hit by lockdown.
In a notification issued on Tuesday by the provincial education department the officials said the orders will be enforced strictly in letter and spirit
Government has also established a cell where parents can lodge their complaints in case of non-compliance with its directives
The officials also said the teaching and non teaching staff can also register their complaints if they are not being paid salaries for the aforementioned duration
The development comes a day after Punjab government, in a similar decision directed all private schools to give 20% concession in tuition fee in the wake of corona outbreak, however, private schools association rejected the government’s directives.
